Sorin is a five-piece progressive metal act from Chico, California. Formed in 2012 the band consists of Alex Light (vocals), Ade Porter (guitar/vocals), Kevin Bowman (guitar), Skylar Wells (bass), and Curtis Scholar (drums). "Riding the wave of progressive, technical metal comes Sorin, the Northern California-based five piece. In the summer of 2012, old members of an instrumental metal band, Forms, recruited Alex Light (formerly of Lysistrata) and Skylar Wells to take on lead vocals and bass, respectively. Thus, was Sorin born. Their blend of technicality and groove is imbued with the burning spirit of what it means to be Alive. Your body will be moved."
