Quo biography

There are more than one groups with this name: 1. Quo was a short-lived rap group composed of Wade Robson and DeWayne Turrentine that was signed to Michael Jackson's Epic Records sub-label, MJJ Music during the explosion of kid rap duos. The duo came together in 1994 and released the single "Blowin' Up (Don't Stop the Music)" which became a minor hip hop hit, charting on both the Hot Rap Singles chart and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. On October 25, 1994, the duo's self-titled album was released but failed to make it to any of the Billboard charts. The following year, a second single, "Quo Funk," was released, which heavily sampled the Jacksons' “This Place Hotel,” but it only made it to #2 on the Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles. After "Quo Funk," the duo disbanded, with Wade Robson becoming a successful choreographer, producer, and actor; while DeWayne Turrentine became a fashion model and married actress Reagan Gomez-Preston. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quo_(group) 2. QUO is the musical brainchild of Ryan Nichols, a Chicago based producer of modern psychedelic music. Established in 2001, QUO has been evolving since conception.
