I-lulu biography

I-lulu was the name of the Japanese pop rock duo formed by vocalist Kana Mizushim and guitarist Yoshimi Katayama in May 2005. They started doing street concerts, and Do As Infinity former member Dai Nagao began producing them. Their debut single "太陽のカサ" was released in December 2005. I-lulu also performed the last song that Nagao created for them, entitled "Trust". First album "ROPS" was released in April 4th 2006. They did a lot of cover songs to several artists, like Eric Clapton, Radiohead, Avril Lavigne, David Bowie and Elvis Costello. In August 2009 they changed their band name to KATA-KANA.
